Cos it's cheap than renting a car lot! lolwhy is it more second hand car sales are using areas like car parks to set up business in?
can anyone reccomend a diesel car for me, price range within £1700?
I've been looking at Golf TDI's, polo tdis, any other that I could maybe have a venture at?
Ta
Looks like it don't it.already?
I didn't really want Fiat, I know "stupid to ask on fiatforum" but I know ALOT of people on here are diverse and tried other cars. And are v helpfulmultipla, bravo/a, marea, punto,
Noooo, not the miles at all. It's a VW so miles not put me off, infact I am looking at tdi atm with 134k on clock, nothing for a vw diesel tbf.whats changed? big miles?
Oh right, sorry. No, the mpg isn't bad, not great though. About same as Punto if i'm honest but that had induction kit so drank like a thirsty horse so to speak.no i meant are you doing big miles
But I've just had an impulse to get a diesel, Uni is coming up soon so would really benefit from the economy. And I bloody love the way they drive
are you mad? petrol engines are so much nicer to drive than diesels. or is the VW so dull that a diesel is more fun?
Alfa 147 if in budget with 1.9 or 156 if you fancy a saloon. ignore the poor looks they show, though if you're into VWs you might find them attractive looking.

I don't know, Parents both have diesels and I just love to drive them, I think its the turbo that does it for me lol. Love the sound of them too.are you mad? petrol engines are so much nicer to drive than diesels. or is the VW so dull that a diesel is more fun?

Ahh yeh, been looking into that. I would have to opt for the 90 version because the 110+ are TD GTI's (maybe another day!). They all have 3 letter initials after each model so I'm trying to learn which is which.Dervs Rock!! :slayer:
I love my Bora 1.9tdi
Be careful which 1.9tdi you get there's a few differant versions varying from 89 to 140bhp I've got the 110 and it's awesome - blows my old escort 1.6 zetec (with a few tweaks) out of the water even off the mark and way above legal motorway speeds.
Toyota, hmm. and regarding the LPG, It would be nice to have but a bit scary carrying an ever so large tank of compressed fuel in my boot in my first year of driving!Pft, everyone I know with a Derv VW Golf has had mega issues with their engines.
Thought about Toyota? Or dare I mention it, going LPG.
