What are people treating/conditioning rubber seals with? Like door seals, I know of a ZYMOL product, just wondered if there was any old school methods, like linseed or dub of something daft like that before I spend some cash :)

I use something called Gummi Pflege. It looks like a Pritt stick, and stops the rubber from sticking, etc. -- especially when it's freezing. Someone on here recommended it, but can't remember who.... It works very well, and seems to last for ages! (y)

I mean a yellow plate with my numbers on but in the dimensions of the import plates seen on some jap/USA cars?

I can't see why not... -- I had one on the back of my Isuzu Bighorn (Jap import) -- as long as the lettering is legally spaced, etc.. (There are guys who advertise in the back of Practical Classics who make plates in all shapes and sizes, etc..) :)

I see..,
didn't really get the question,

if you want a UK style ( legal) "square plate" go to EBAY,

cheap as you get.. AND you can normally add a little text / Italian Tricolore, for a quid..!!(y)

that's where I go for all my bike plates ;),

Solder, but the balance is unique to tyres i thought

Solder?

It looks like it was a double sided sticky foam pad origionally. I know the wheel and exact possition is came from, as was when I was cleaning the inside of the rim with a brush after having removed the wheels for winter storage.

Just need to know what to use to stick it back into place until the tyres are removed as I suspect normal sticky foam pads wouldn't be up to it
