Ive managed to get a drill bit stuck in the drill.
The collar can come down to 'release' (chuckless key), but I cannot twist it open to unlock it?

Any ideas?

out chuck keeps dismantling it's self from the spindle.
can you remove the chuck (tool holder) from the drill?
 
Looking at a mk3 Golf (1993 L-reg) with a mate later. Only a cheap £250 banger with 4 months tax on it.

Anyone got idea's on anything particular to look out for on it? It'll porbably be scrapped come MOT if it needs any major work doing on it, but wanted to see if there were any Vag owners on here with experience of the mk3.

rust rust n more rust, not just body but every thing made of metal, pas pipes brake pipes....

I dont think it is SDS.
The collar will slide to release (no chuck used) but the grip on the drill is tight as hell.
