Possibly a poor connection to the power supply and earth, or could be an internal fault. Assuming it's the standard Visteon radio, there's nothing much inside it that's repairable.

Assuming you mean the internal light in the radio, then yes.

No I mean the one in console above your head between the driver and passage seats

It's ok sussed fuse f39 10amp had blown the odb slot replaced fuse and bam all ok

I don't know of any. I think Grundig radios have to be decoded at a radio workshop.

Hi Davren ,thanks for the code unfortunately the WAIT message reappeared after first attempt. The serial number was checked and is the same as the number stamped into the drivers side of the radio chassis. There is a bar code behind the face of the radio but the numbers are just about unreadable. Is it time for a new radio?
