Would love some help.

The numbers on the unit are:

Prod nr Fiat

Someone has also written on there with pen the numbers

Your code is: 4134

To enter the code, switch the radio on. The display should show " CODE " then " - - - - ". Press preset buttons 4 then 1 then 3 then 4. You do not need to press any further buttons to enter the code.

If you have tried to enter the wrong code too many times, the display will continue to show " CODE " or " WAIT ". If this happens, you will need to leave the radio and ignition switched on for 2 hours before you can try to enter the code again.

I am sorry of this query has been answered elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it.

Currently my Fiat 500 radio is saying radio blocked/wait, obviuosly as I stupidly tried to guess the code I have been told different things by dealerships as to how to retrieve my code (once this blocked thing disappears!). We never recieved the radio code card when we got the car, orignally it was imported from France. Do I really need to remove the radio to get a serial number? I cannot see how this would be possible, and seem to bo getting quoted £30-50 just to remove the radio and then a further £15-£50 (!!!) to get the actual code.

Any ideas?
