Hi Alan,

Thanks for that but I'm unable to actually try the code as the screen just keeps displaying 'wait' - I've tried disconnecting it but when I switch it back on it's still saying 'wait - any tips for what I can do for it to let me input the code you gave?

Don't hold me to this, but I believe it has to be left on for upto 24 hours before it'll allow you to re-enter the code unfortunately, is a further security thing.

You've posted the Blaupunkt and Fiat part numbers for the radio, you need to post the serial number. For your radio it will be something like BPX372XXXXXXXX and will be stamped into the side of the radio.

Thanks for your reply but oh no that's typical. It did have the number
8(or B) 6351232090 SISN written on the back of radio, but to get any numbers off the side i'll have to take it back to the garage as it needs a special key to get the radio out....
Please say this is the serial number

Sorry.... that is not the serial number. The serial number will be in the format I posted above and will include the number 372 (as I posted above).

The code Alan posted is correct for the serial number you posted.

Check your serial number again and repost it if you've made a mistake.

I dont know how your working your magic but im in the same boat, master code request for connect nav+ in 02 stilo abarth, with absolutely no help from the quaility NZ fiat reps i turn to you for help before going down the flashing 9.8 / replacement route. Numbers on mine arent stamped, just on a Magnet Merelli sticker and a random sticker on the side of the unit.

Sorry.... codes for Connect Nav units are only available from Magneti Marelli. You have to send the CN to Italy and pay at least €180 (EUR) plus return postage. Looks like it's the 9.8 route. You may have to reinstal 9.8 if you ever have to disconnect the car battery.
