I have recently just purchased another punto. HGT infact, and the radio it has come with requires a code. I cant manage to find it anywhere. Anyways, the stereo just displays 'wait'...?

How long would it take for this to go? And can anybody supply me the radio code?

Here are some numbers:

Waiting time depends on how many times an incorrect code has been tried, and could be up to 24 hours as in the table below.

The radio and ignition needs to be left switched on continuously for the waiting time. If you switch either off too soon, the waiting time starts again.

Just changed the battery in my motorhome and radio needs a code. Tried the code in the handbook and it doesn't work, and on checking the serial number of the radio it looks like the radio has been changed at some point.

It's a Fiat Ducato CD NS radio.

The serial number is BP 331857219708.

There is also a sticker on the top that states BP - Nr. 7 643 318 316 and Fiat-Nr. 735 388 373.
