After endless photoshops, finally some proper pictures of the FIAT Project 327, which might or might not be the 'Nuova Uno'.

I wonder if it will come to Europe? Rumours a while ago said may be under the Zastava banner. Anyway, I doubt the UK will see it; can you imagine the slagging it would receive in the aspirational motoring magazines having been "developed to a rigorous cost programme to keep the price below 6,000 euros"?

I think it looks ok, I really like the front grill its very different. I should imagine the Panda is ready for a major facelift or replacement soon. Although I cant see where this new Uno and the Topolino would fit into the current range. It just seems that there is an overabundance of little city cars. We have the Panda, 500 and now a new Uno and maybe the Topolino. The Sei is still produced in Italy as well.

AFAIK it is intended for the domestic market only. I cannot imagine it would sell where I live - the segment is fully saturated with Panda and GP. Surprisingly, 500s are not that common.

Official images of the new Uno are out on the internet now. This looks somewhat like a toned-down version of the Doblo. It will be interesting to see how Fiat markets this car. I don't think Europeans will drive this since the entry-level Panda is also scheduled to go under the surgeon's knife shortly. This could be for the developing markets.

Thanks to our friends at Carplace Brazil, we’re able to bring you the first clear shots of the 2011 ‘Novo’ Fiat Uno with absolutely no camouflage.
The new Fiat Uno will be launched on April 18th.

The technical specifications have been discussed in a previous post and images of the interiors have also been shown on Steering News before.

The new Fiat Uno will be offered with a 1.0-liter and a 1.4-liter flex fuel engine. At launch, the 1.0-liter 75 bhp and the 1.4-liter that delivers about 100bhp is expected.

It will debut in Brazil and probably in the other South American markets over the new few months. The new Uno is expected to be the starting point in the Fiat range, but blogs based out of South America say the possibilities of this model coming to Europe is less as the Fiat Panda is working well as the entry-level Fiat.

The Fiat Uno will appeal to the younger buyer with its funny shape and funky factory-pasted decals and the bigger and more expensive Doblo’s silhouette. The budget hatchback (almost looks like a mini SUV) will offer a good amount of rear legroom and boot space.

The interior spy shot conveyed the presence of thick steering wheel, single dial display and dead pedal leading to us to a conclusion that the new Uno will be easy and simple to drive.

Excellent work notjustshrawan (y)

A bit Doblo, a bit Qubo, a bit KIA Soul...

My first car was an Uno, a bad example unfortunately. I think a new Uno is the perfect antidote to the ever growing Punto. If they can keep it <1000 kgs and with that 100 BHP 900cc Multiair Turbo engine, it should be a riot.

Well the new Uno has now featured on Yahoo cars.

According to them the new Uno will actually be more expensive than the Panda. They also make no mention that the car will only be sold in developing countries. Obviously they could be wrong and theres a lot of speculation at the moment. It could be sold at the same prices as the 500 and just basically be a 500 for people who need something bigger with 4 doors.

Personally I think all Fiats city cars are priced fairly and I am wondering about the Pandas future. If the new uno is released here then I can see it cutting into Panda sales. Then you have to consider where the Topolino will fit in if its released. Maybe that will be for people who want something smaller than the Panda for the same price. Although the Panda is very small as it is.

I don't see the problem tbh, Fiat are still going to be selling cars regardless whether or not they bring the Uno to the Euro market. Each car is made to order anyway so as long as Fiat are making a nice stack of cash and consumers are getting the vehicle they want I say they should go for it, flood the market, I'd rather have too much choice than not enough :)

Too Qubo for me (n) and I prefer a symmetrical car, so don't like the grill either... I hope it stays in south america.
