said that the Trepiuno will have 1.6l 180 bhp abarth in the engine range,, cant wait to see one with abarth badge

Can't they build it on the Panda platform?

See what a sucess BMWs Mini is. The 500 was an icon in a similar vein, so the Trepiuno culd really help Fiat in thier hour of need.

yeah look it makes no sense to make the new 500 roughly the same size as the Panda, they'd end up taking sales off each other. No, what Fiat need really badly is to replace the hopeless & ageing Seicento with a Smart rival

yeah looks too similar to the panda although its still very very nice.

the trepiuno was much nicer! it would have been massive over on the continent and ide certinaly buy one when they were going for £1000 on ebay ;)

atleast there not realising that disgusting pile of crap with the sliding doors they were talking about before!

As I know Fiat will be making a new city car for 2005, codenamed 500, as detailed here. We should find out after the new year of its design, and it could be expected to be similer in style to the trepiuno. It just wont be the trepiuno as its size was nearly as large as the Panda was and they want to make something smaller.

i dont usually like new cars at all...

but thats cool (y) as long as they dont make it too high i will be lovin that!

The Pug 1007 has sliding electric doors. And because of them it's heavy, and slow, and uneconomical.

Fiat need to build a good looking, trendy, affordable, economical, quick, practical (as far as it can be - ie clever design) city car. Add in some crazy servicing and warranty package (like 5 years included in the cost of the car), and don't supply them to anyone any cheaper to help the residuals up.

I'm not a fan of that one :( Looks too like the matiz

The trepiuno looked the nuts :bang:

ive compared the yellow car on italiaspeed and an image of the Trepiuno and they are the same car, bar four differences I can see, the fog light position has been moved lower, the wing mirrors have changed to punto style, larger front grill and its got the sliding door, otherwise its the same
