I'm subscribed to DorsetFire on youtube. Had this in my feed which was fun to watch.

Weymouth Fire Engine Emergency Driving - YouTube

Is it wrong that I put it on fullscreen then sat there shouting "pull over"..."get out of the F'kin way" :D
The green car @ 1:44 Just crawl along THEN pull over directly opposite another car!!!
At 2:04 - I can see & hear the fire engine but I MUST get past this bus!

@ 5:23 - the black car - could they not have simply drawn forward a few feet into the disabled bay in front of the red pug? 10 seconds wasted!

Lol.

I was really getting into it then thought, hang on its no different to watching police camera action, but I suppose it is as they're not chasing anything, and its a much bigger vehicle than a police car.

I couldn't do that as a job though, I'd be constantly swearing at them all and having road rage.

I nearly had a head-on with a fire-engine because the old fool in front of the engine just stood on his brakes, leaving the rapidly approaching tender with nowhere else to go but into my lane.... The driver did well to get it round the old codger and back into his own lane, because for a moment I thought it was going to tip over and take me with it! ::eek:

People see blue lights and think 'I must stop, I must stop!'...Sometimes it's better to speed up if you can see a safer place for them to pass ahead.... (y)

One from yesterday morning. Have sent the link to local licensing office - but I'll not be holding my breath.
I'm fairly certain I've seen this one before - but last time he was carrying a wheelchair passenger who wasn't clamped in OR wearing a seatbelt.
Sadly, no matter how hard I looked at the footage, the tinted windows wouldn't allow the camera a good view inside (although my passenger could be heard commenting).

Lane control = 0

Obvious that the lane he was in goes to the right and yours is the centre as it becomes the bus lane. See that sort of thing all the time.

Had an email back from the council
"the drivers record will be checked for prior incidents. When checking the drivers record if there are other complaints the driver will be called in for an interview and the outcome could lead to a warning, suspension or revocation of his licence. If however this is the only incident recorded against the driver at this stage the driver will be sent a letter informing him of the complaint and all details will be kept on his file.

Due to the type of incident we have also forwarded your complaint and video footage to the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing department. For previous complaints of this nature with video footage we have been informed that if they receive the footage within 7 days and it shows an offence being committed action may be taken."

Seems they might be taking more notice of complaints from the public?
And this, the same day that the local paper reports dangerous taxis taken off the road, so maybe they have finally grown a pair & are standing up to these people?

But they won't stand up to these cowboys since these cabs are all licensed by Rutland council.
No-one in this town can figure out how it is they are allowed to operate in this area - many, many miles outside their licensing authority.

i though as long as the car and driver are registered to the same place then they can drive where ever they like?

The operator also needs to be in the same area but although the operator is registered in Rutland they operate from a local number which is not allowed

Dom either Youtube / flash is been gay - or your camera is dying?

But the reversing onto your drive, he's in the wrong for using his lights to convey a different meaning, and you are just as wrong for following the other meaning

Videos look fine to me.

That's the thing, if I don't follow on a flash, I'd be sat waiting for hours! (Or cut someone up and end up in a slanging match).

Yes I have reported the Taxi driver to Sheffield City Council.

Dom
