Off Topic Test Drove a Fiat 500 today

Test drove a 1.2 sport earier in red after being hooked in ( only went in for centre caps )

Drove a Grande Punto aswell the 1.4 8v one,

None were as responsive as my Seicento, after driving the Punto it was like being in a little rocket , the 500 wasn't slow but it felt slow compared

the 500 almost won my heart.......

Anyone else driven the 500 what did they think?

The 500 weighs almost twice as much as your Sei, so its never going to be as 'sprightly'.

I have a 500 as well as the cinq, but mine is an MTD and has plenty of torque.

They are different cars for different purposes.

The closest car Fiat now do in the UK to the Sei is the basic panda.

Its not got the kit that a 500 has and can be buzzed along quite nicely in a strange sort of way.

ow that explains a lot then i fort they only weighed 900kg

Nice be inside though once i found i fitted inside :devil: no sunroof or 500C for me lol

Rubbish headroom in the back though - my ex had one & everytime we picked up my Grandma from her house I sat in the back with the pillar whacking me in the ear. I'm not a tall bloke either!!! :bang:

Thats one of the reasons why BSM have got rid of the 500 as its company car - its poor cramped rear

And they dont feel as big as a seicento do they....
