The gauge needle is at the bottom cold position which obviously is normal when the vehicle is switched off. When the vehicle is started the needle moves directly to the middle of the gauge ( half way between cold and hot ) and stays at that position whatever the length of the journey until the ignition is switched off.
The gauge was working normally until after one journey the cooling fans were running when the journey was completed and then the ignition was switched off.
The vehicle is the base for a Autotrail motorhome which is still under warranty but at this stage l am reluctant to drive it 30 miles to the nearest Fiat dealer. Any advice please if l can easily correct this.
