Technical Temp screen light failure

The readout which shows the temperature set on the passenger side is faulty on my motor. When it's a 2 or 3 the bottom line is missing.

Does anyone know if this is likely to be covered under warranty and what a potential repair might entail (simply replacing a screen)

Will obviously check with a garage in the week, but just wondered if this had happened to anyone else on here?

If it's under warranty then take it back something like this should be covered

Yes Mike the Manufacturer warranty should cover most things like that. I'd be annoyed if it didn't!

You'll be pleased to hear 500Mike I returned from overseas a couple of weeks ago picked up my car which had been left in an airport car park for 2 months and exactly (passenger dial) the same thing had happened to mine. I visited my dealer on Thursday and they immediately offered to replace 'the heater panel' to use their words under warranty.

You may want to contact the dealer ahead of schedule. Either visit them ASAP or show them a picture etc. and they may be able to order up the replacement so you don't have to make two journeys.

Good advice, most dealers don't keep anything in stock these days.
