General TC big problems...

Hopefully this wont get deleted but i thought i would post up here to let everyone know what is going on with the Turbo Collective site... As many of you may know the server that TC was on wasnt the most reliable and we regularly got downtime, sometimes for days at a time... Anways TC was in the process of being moved the other day to a brand new server when the old server crashed and corrupted the site files...

To cut a long story short the whole site has been lost, all the posts, all the members info etc etc... Needless to say i am absolutely gutted about this, but i am in the process of setting the site back up as it was minus the posts so please in the next few days when you see the site back up again sign up and get the posts rolling again as TC was starting to become very popular...

Anyone who wants to add me to msn messenger feel free [email protected] and if you know any other TC members please tell them to sign up again when we are back online...

lob, i was wondering myself what happened, i thought the front page was going to usher in a spangly new site, you must be lived and gutted, was really starting to pick up too. there is no back up anywhere?

Wassappenin peeps... Yes thats right, i am well and truly gutted !!! BUT (drum rolls........) We had been searching for backups for the last 4 days on all of our systems (mine and triptechs) and we found nothing, i had started to build the site again and today we had one last look, anyways we have come across backup file which i asked triptech to make back in august when we had trouble with the server and i thought it would be best to get one sorted incase it crashed...

Not too sure how much is there but it looks like there are some SQL files so all might not be lost, only the past few months of members and posts which is better than nothing... Ill keep everyone informed on whats going on as soon as we get some more sorted, cheers for having patience with this and also thanks for the support lads...

P.S - Does anyone have Si from TC's number ??? I have an exhaust and header tank waiting for him...

your old uno turbo (M reg) lobster just needs an mot every thing now works i mean every thing just pressure washed underneath today and put on 2 new track rods and 2 new lower arms and 2 new anti roll bar bushes. undersealed it as well drives so much better
