General Tail lights LED

Is it possible to swap the latter type LED for the early incandescent bulb type as the shape is the same. Or is it?

Hi, Problem is that if your original lights were LED they run comparatively cool,
Filament bulbs will melt the plastic quickly.

You want to swap existing LED for incandescent? I don't think they will work electrically. Current consumption is much higher on incandescent and you may damage the ECU. Are the LED units faulty?
