Technical T jet oil consumption

Hi. My 2017 Tipo tjet is using more oil than usual. I also get the occasional puff of blue smoke out the exhaust. My initial research on YouTube points to a PCV valve. Fiat call this a segregator on their computer.
Has anyone had a similar issue resolved by replacing this unit?

PCV is a good shout and likely part at least of the problem. At 89K I would also think valve stem seals might need looking at.
