T-Jet Electrical Issues..

Took the car to an auto electrician today.

A list of fault codes as long as his arm when he plugged it in, but some of these may have been caused when I changed my battery.

He's cleared all the faults, and has told me to drive it around until they pop up again and bring it back straight away. The thing I was doin wrong was unplugging the battery for 5 mins if the car wouldn't start, or the dash lights came up. I shouldn't have done this and it can cause the computer to not communicate with the engine and vice versa.

He says that if the faults come back then the likely fault is the BCM, this would need replacing and programming for the small fee of around £400..
