Hi guys and girls, hopefully I'm in the right section.
I bought a 56 plate grade punto dynamic 1.2 8v about 2 months ago. I bought it with the whole rear disco light thing, but sorted that with new connectors. The thing drove absolutely spot on until one day it randomly stated popping the boot on its own, the next day drove it with no issues, parked it up for about 4hrs, when I came back to it the immobiliser light was on and it would not start.
RAC came out, plugged it in and said it was my key. Got a locksmith out, but after trying 4 different computers, couldn't read the eeprom from the bcm.
I've checked the earth's I can and all seem to show continuity. I bought a second ecu, bcm, fuse box, ignition and instrument cluster, but same issue. I've plugged it in to MES and it says open circuit to rear fog lights, open or short to +v to key transponder and minicrypt error.
Does anyone have any ideas? First time posting, so if I've missed anything my bad
