System Wiring!

Iv got my subs wired in already and obviously amped,
Got a 4 channel amp to be put in and amping some front component speakers and some 6x9's in the back just wondering if i have got to have some speakers that are playing off the headunit to make it sound better or work properly?
Please help, thanx in advance!​

Pretty sure you can have just the HU running amps with no speakers running

If you want subs and 4 speakers, and you have a 4 channel amp, ur gonna have to connect something to the HU...
