As the weather got colder, I was getting the slow starter, and odd messages on the dash "fluid level high, turn off engine".
My outdoor temperature sensor has been reading -2 degrees, 'ice on road' for years, I just put it down to a faulty sensor.

Anyways, two days in a row I got a slow start so I thought i'd better change the battery, which I should had done last year. Was going to buy the GSF drivetec as people mention it's essentially a Yusua? Forget Eurocarpart, the previous owner installed a Lion, which has lasted a good few years.

Amazon had the Yusua 5012 (5000 series) for £56, which was £4 cheaper than GSF's own brand. Ordered on Boxing day and received a few days later, even though it was expected to be delivered on 6 Jan.
Installed in 15 minutes and everything working perfect. Seems to have sorted all the electrical gremlins and lights seem brighter at night.

Change your batts guys if you're getting a slow start guys!! Don't get stranded on the side of the road when the cold snap arrives. (y) Amazon has increased the price by £4-6 quid. Still a great deal compared to motor factors.

This is the link I used: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KNQTRGY

Change your batts guys if you're getting a slow start guys!
That's much too general of an advice and very often can be wrong to follow.
Better to say 'Change the battery if after proper diagnosis turnes out it's bad'.
Slow start can be caused by mutiple faults, not just bad battery.
Faulty alternator ---> causes low charge battery
Electrical cables fault, especially ground cable, or oxidized contacts
Faulty starter motor
Improper (+) cables connected to starter motor, loose contacts.

Good thing you've fixed yours!
