i,m always a bit amused at threads similar to this. at the end of the day even if you put the best money can buy, zorst/manifold/racingcat, induction kit etc,etc as said you're not going to see much gains, specially not the power some are expecting

i,m not having a go here or anything but the costs are very high compared at the end result

as said on 8v.... its always fun tweaking the motor i know, there's a limit at what you can do, at the end of the day if speed&noise you're after, put the money together & buy a turbo or something more powerful, i know i,m being a bit boring but then there's the question about insurance

it all adds up. i owned a wee punto for about 8yrs & fiddled about with it myself, saved some money by buying bargains etc , i should know better at my age but as said i did the work myself. if i,m honest looking back it was fun a nippy wee motor,handled well due to suspension set up

but even saving money like i did no real big gains in power, certainly far better than standard, but anything is better than standard. weighing up the costs even saving on bargains, doing work yourself still spent way too much
