dont get me wrong i want the speed who wouldnt haha its just a cost issue how much u recon for the whole exhaust SS cost?? Iv alredi saved enuf for the remap n GSR soo need to save for the SS

Yeah the manifold is like £250+ on its own and i think they have stopped making them now and then you have like another £250 for the sports cat. If you look on your manifold now you will see a cat at the bottom of it. A sports cat is basically a more free flowing cat. If you run an 8v without a cat you will loose back pressure and this will have a negative effect on the performance.

yup, thats if you can get your hands on the manifold to start with. And then you will need to get a bracket fabricated to stop the manifold moving otherwise it will crack.

i,m always a bit amused at threads similar to this. at the end of the day even if you put the best money can buy, zorst/manifold/racingcat, induction kit etc,etc as said you're not going to see much gains, specially not the power some are expecting i,m not having a go here or anything but the costs are very high compared at the end result as said on 8v.... its always fun tweaking the motor i know, there's a limit at what you can do, at the end of the day if speed&noise you're after, put the money together & buy a turbo or something more powerful, i know i,m being a bit boring but then there's the question about insurance it all adds up. i owned a wee punto for about 8yrs & fiddled about with it myself, saved some money by buying bargains etc , i should know better at my age but as said i did the work myself. if i,m honest looking back it was fun a nippy wee motor,handled well due to suspension set up but even saving money like i did no real big gains in power, certainly far better than standard, but anything is better than standard. weighing up the costs even saving on bargains, doing work yourself still spent way too much

ss will still make the manifolds but you have to buy 10

thats my cat back system from powerflow (Custom Performance) Near market rasen in Lincolnshire. Awsome quality no botch job there. Ive been told by my mates and family that it sounds the nuts, the video is a little poo quality on the sound but you get a idea of what it is. Under load its amazing. A little raspy at high revs, And it does turn heads of boy racers down my local sea front were all the moddified cars go.

has anyone got a full super sprint setup on a 1.4 on hear could you tel me how much it all come to?

and do you have to have a cat on the 1.4

sounds similair to the 1.2 set up mate. but i have a custom straight through center section with sports cat fitted. and it sounds lovely. ill get a video when i can be arsed. or come to the RR day on 24th at GSR and you can hear it in person.
