General Supersprint Mk2 8v Fitting

hi all, eversince buyin my ss backbox it has never fitted right and has always been bodged.

it is the same bb that ss show on their website for the 8v mk2 punto,

how does it fit to the car properly, i,e with rubbers, does it come with special mounting brackets from ss when new ?

could someone please help?

should fit standard rubber and comes with a reducer when new

what is a reducer?

had to cut the middle section down so it would accomodate the pipe on the bb, its the mounting that is the problem, forgot to mention its a 5 door if this makes any diff??

the bore on the back box should be too big to be a nice fit on the rest of a standard system, ss provide a reducer for this.

you should have a bracket with it that bolts onto the car, then the standard rubber goes onto that. remind me tuesday and i will try any get a photo, if there isnt one already in my gallery

its the same as mine, it comes with a bracket that bolts to the car

this is the bracket you need, contact ss and they could probably supply one

Jus took it too a local exhaust fitters, he said wrong exhaust for the car, does ANYONE know what this bracket looks like or knows where to get one from
