Now the summer heat wave is rapidly approaching can any one point me in the right direction to fix an annoying problem with my electric sunroof.... It tilts and slides fine but does not always auto stop in the closed position and I have to stop it manually.... Is there a sensor somewhere that tells the motor when to stop.... 9 times out of 10 it will not stop on its own and is a real pain when you are driving....

Thanks

Yes theres a microswitch and a grove on the main spindle. 9 times out of 10 the relay is knackered. But check to make sure the microswitch aint sticking.

Thanks for that, is this easy to get to and check....?? I assume it is behind the overhead panel that houses the interior lights...

Yeah remove the courtesy light, as you drop the motor out you should see the microswitch and how it works. Also if you trace the wiring for the motor you'll find the relay im on about. Small black block.
