I was a bit of an idiot yesterday and managed to snap off my drivers side (right/UK) sun visor! Does anyone have a link of where I can obtain a new one cheaply, including the bracket that attaches to the ceiling, as that's where it's snapped.

I did very briefly research on Ebay but couldn't find what I was looking for. I should mention I have a Panda 2007. The ones I did find on my quick search were mainly Puntos with a different bracket/ceiling fixing.
Anyone know if I'm right in thinking that a 500 sun visor would work as a replacement? I've done exactly the same as the original poster, except I've done *both* sides. I was literally thinking 'you need to handle this really carefully, as it's probably as brittle as the other one' when it snapped.
The clip looks to be the same, but would be great to hear if anyone has actually done this before eBaying/scouring the local breakers.
My sun visor snapped off a couple of days ago and driving home without it wasn't pleasant because the high roof line meant I was really struggling with the sun in my eyes.
As I still needed to use the car, I took the visor from the passenger side and fitted that to the drivers side with some tape stuck over the mirror because the mirror was then facing forwards when the visor was down.
I've now glued the broken part, drilled a hole through it and added a self tapping screw to try to help hold it together, so it will be interesting to see if it lasts.
Last saturday. one of the kids broke the passenger side sun visor on my wife's Panda.
It's gone right across the 90 degree bend. It measures 10mm so I plan to try a copper plumbing fitting, filing the plastic to fit and gluing. I have no idea what glue will best do the job, but doubt epoxy will be sticky enough.
I've been told by someone on another forum that the ones off a 500 do fit, with exactly the same clips, but are a little bit smaller (which for us short arses who are so close to the wheel that we have to lean back to not get hit in the head by the visor is not necessarily a bad thing ?)
