General sump plug

Could not get the sump plug off my 8v dynamic and now the bolt head has become rounded.Anybody got any ideas on how to remove it?Thanks in advance

Try a pair of mole grips or stilsons. Bit brutal but its yer own fault ;-)

try to hammer on a smaller socket but really gently, that's what garage did last time they changed the oil on mine, you can use a file to make the bolt 'hex' again

will you lot never learn if sump bolt is knackered have a new one to replace it first,it will stop all the grief when posting again with same old problem,oh some dont come with washer when ordering sump bung,thought they used a 12mm allen key
so many tools out there once you start looking.
