Technical Sump plug??

Hi,

I need help with my sump plug as it's been cross threaded when taking it out! I've tried everywhere to find a replacement! And I've only come across one place that sells them in a pack of 10 for Fords! But they say they are still the same thread?? Still waiting for Fiat to call me back but guarantee its gonna cost!

Any help on this would be brilliant!!

Sump plugs - they're about a fiver afaik.

go to www.shop4parts.co.uk and search for sump plug then look for your vehicle model (mk1 mk2 etc)

You will have to pay postage on the items so the pack of 10 might work out cheaper. I got a sump plug from my local motor factor for £1, just had to ask at the desk

i 'd also check the sump thread itself is not damaged as you may need a new one.

Thanks all...got it sorted now my dad's somehow re-threaded it as just had a knotch in it!!
