Hi, does anyone know the torque setting for the sump drain plug on a 2.3 x290 engine as fitted to a 2015 Ducato, thanks

Thanks for the info, I haven't got a reset tool, but my local friendly garage will have! The oil change reminder has many miles to go, but it's 12 months since last change and I would like to change it. Thanks again Ed

It's not just the oil change reminder, which works off the service reset through the instrument cluster ECU. You also have to update the oil degradation (condition) counter through the engine ECU to tell it that the oil is new, otherwise it still calculates the oil condition on the basis of the last change it was notified about and will put you in limp mode if it decides the oil is too dirty or diluted based on driving conditions in the elapsed period.

Many independent garages either aren't aware that they have to reset it as a separate function to the service reset, or don't have the equipment to do it.

Thank you for the information. I will have to make sure it is all reset as required.
