Anybody have a list with torque values for a 1990 2.5D engine? Or at least head bolts, my manual says 60, 60, 180⁰, but another one says 40, 40, 180⁰? Maybe its different for TD?

Thanks in advance, Fred

Sorry for picture quality, my hands are not that steady. One is the 1994 book and the cleaner one is 1995, in the cleaner one the 1995 version the torque figures for your engine Series is in the third column I think judging by the opposite page.:)

Thanks for that, but now i'm still confused 😕 your book says 40,40,180⁰. Mine, German one, says for the 2.5/2.8 60,60,180⁰...
The new head bolts (elring)came with instructions, 60, 60, 180⁰....

See my point?😵‍💫

In that case, personally I would make sure the threads were well cleaned in cylinder block, any lube supplied by Elring used and as long as you trust your torque wrench , go by your head bolt suppliers instructions, as that data is up to date where as mine and others was related to many years ago. Presumably Elring bolts are designed to handle their torque settings.:)
