I'm trying to replace the holed sump on my white 94 Panda. I've loosened all the bolts bar one! :bang: It's a real pig to get at, anyone got any trick for this, I don't really want to have to drop the exhaust. cheers Damon

is that on your one or one up the yard? if its up the yard just saw the exhaust off :)
if its on yours you might end up having to remove the exhaust to get the pan off over the oil pic up

Hi Panda-sport.
I'm sure I managed to get to mine with only dropping the exhaust by undoing the bolt under the sump rather than taking it off. It was a long time ago though.
Have you got a wobbly spider for your socket set?
Good luck with it.
Russ.

Dave, I've already got a sump from Kirk, I used that one as practice before attempting mine.

The exhaust has been designed so that you can get to the bolt on the front edge of the sump between the down pipes. I tried the bolts on the manifold/downpipe connection but they are so rusted I fear they are going to shear.:(

Hi Russ, if you look you may notice that the bolt holding the exhaust has sheared off but no movement:eek:
