Technical Sudden abs esp hill holder failure

Hi guys just experienced such messages on obc and looking for some help from yous. Did some research and found this could be faulty brake switch? Havent drive much and it was pretty dry so broken/wet wire seems not to be the issue.

Patient: 2004 1.4 16v 133k miles

Hi. Thanks for interest. No, engine managment light is off. Didnt check if those systems are working. Will do today.

As Meho suggests, get it on a scanner.


Could be as simple as dirt in the ABS Sensor, this time of year they get full of salt and dirt from the roads.

Battery check - ensure terminals are clean and oxidation free and tight!

Halfords do free battery check as well


Also not all generic obd scanners can do other systems

You may need a high spec scanner/dealer/mes to pull diagnostic codes

Thanks for interest. Took the car for a drive and lights dissapeared after 20mins. Could be damp could be dirt. Happy days.
