@ Nico - Yeah, i bugs me a bit, but obviously not as much as you...lol

I end up putting it on cold and 1 on the blower, it seems to be a little better than auto.

@ Dan - Shape was easy as they are perfectly round. As for getting the size, i simply stuck the original ones to my monitor and lined them up...lol

These are what they look like when they are out.

How did you remove them from the console i thought they where permanently fitted? Looks sweet though.

You need to give the labels a firm tug, they will come out. I got mine and smees out that way when I sprayed our dashes.

Daz,

Don't suppose you could show me how to do that mate, only mine would be without air con so probably only need 2 :) ?

Sizing

To make something in a graphics package that will print out the correct size do this:

These are all for photoshop, but should be the same in all packages.

1. Measure the thing you want to copy. (now lets for example say it's an 8cm circle that is 1cm thick)
2. Create a new document in Photoshop. Set the resolution to 100 pixels per centimetre. Then set the width and height to 800 pixels.

Now you have a new document that is the correct size.

3. Now select the draw ellipse tool. Set the colour to black. Place the cursor in the top left hand corner of your new document, press the shift key, now click and drag the ellipse (as you have the shift key pressed it will create a perfect circle). When the ellipse fits perfectly inside the square it will be the right size.

So you now have a black circle that is the exact size as the outside of the ring you want to create.

The ring is one cm in size, so click on the view button and show the grid.

4. click on the ellipse tool again, make the colour white this time.

5. Place the cursor inside the black circle one cm down and one cm in. Press the **** button again and click and drag until you have a perfect circle that is one cm smaller than the outer ring. Let go of the mouse and shift key, and hey presto you have an black ring that is one cm in depth and 8cm round :)

Easy peasy lemon squeazy.

Re: Sizing

Sorry guys, i didn't keep the templates...:(

But if you follow Martins guide you can't go far wrong...

The only thing i would suggest is that instead of doing it by pixel size, do it by measurement.

Also (in PSP) when drawing the elipse, you can specify the width, i found this easier than drawing 2 circles.
