Ive got a 15 inch sub in my boot and im pretty sure the amp and sub are the same watts, would would happen if i put a sub which was more watts then the amp?? would i not be able to push the sub to far or it would blow the amp?

Cheers

There are more important things that the wattage rating, such as the impedance and having the correct box.

Although if its a cheap sub/amp then the wattage ratings are usually totally bogus anyway.

it just wouldnt power the sub as well, although some power figures would help

im sure the amp and sub are 400 or 800 watts each, cant remember, bought them off ebay a while ago second hand, their splx (crappy make i know) the sub is green with splx in the centre. So it wouldnt blow up?

they are bad! quite a high probability of blowing 1 of those up!
