im still trying to find some D&G split discs for the brembos, worst come to worst ill try some black diamond discs and like you said the yellow stuff pads.I think ill deffo be going with the yoko R-888 tyres now tbh there isn another that can match it for price and quality.

Be funny to see the looks on there faces when i drive past them on the straights lol

A coupe with a 16v Turbo engine, can be tuned to much much much more power than a coupe 20v Turbo could ever dream of. I'd still take the 20v though.

As for handling, i suspect being Japanese a Subaru will have much more sophisticated suspension set up. The coupe uses a cheap set up, it's effective and is excellent for a FWD car, but there are better systems out there, my brothers MX3 still a FWD car, easily outclassed my tipo, which is lighter than a coupe, Though it was a lot quicker than the MX3:devil:

my last car was a 16vt with stage one mods, even tho its the lancia lump my new 20vt is alot faster with just a chip than my 16vt was with all stage 1 mods.

plus my 20vt dont run out of puff like my 16vt did at 5k revs.

Even tho the 16 had 83k and my 20vt has 110k i find it more reliable smother runner.

IMO its all about the 20vt.

omg, this will start a war :peace: both great engines.

Think that the 16vt engine has been tuned further but to be honest any engine with lots of cash can be mega tuned, forged internals etc etc.
Some will be cheaper depending on whether tuning bits are on the shelf and in demand and whether someone has done the leg work 1st.

I use to say 16vt all the way till i had my 20vt

I do think that for tunning the 16vt lump is the stronger engine but im having full rebuild and forged/strenthened engine.

On the 16vt you can do mods without doing all that but I no people who have tuned 20vt to 400bhp without forged parts and strenth work and within 6 months it went bang.

It happened again 3 times, he had bigger turbo the lot.

If he had done the same with a 16vt it would be ok or last a lot longer.

IMO tho if you do something dont do it half harted, go all the way if you no what i mean.

Dont get me wrong tho I think you can still up the power without strenth work but 400bhp and god knows how much boost is a bit to much on stanard 20vt engine. would you agree?

Also wanted to know, what engine is the 20vt?

I no all about the 16vt being a lancai lump but iv sold it 2 months ago to buy my 20vt[i love the sound]:D

can you not convert the coupe 16vt to 4wd? something to do with the lancia i believe...they dont sound as good as a 5cyl at 6800Rpm ;) but tuned right of course 16vt are quick...but on topic though, facts are facts..coupe on straight, subaru in corners, stock vs stock ;) of course

you can make the 20vt a 4wd in bravo as the dedra shares same chassis but you would have to find one on the continent to do that lol

Great summery id say, as for a 4wd coupe thats would be perfect but for me its to much hassle and would cost to much money.

Thats the kind of coupe i dream of:sleep:
