hi all well i had my subs stolen at the weekend but he was kind enough 2 unscrew them and not destroy wires. Now ive got 4 cables 2 4 each sub with like frayed ends on them how do they connect 2 a sub. wish it was as easy as a 6x9 just clip them on

all help appreciated.
 
all the wires are there ive got 4 cables hanging out of each hole were a sub was. its a really big thick gold cable and its almost like u just screw this onto a sub?? not sure yet as i anent getting my new subs till weekend :)

Have you got 4 cables or 2 cables that contain two wires in each?

As the four cables indicates the original subs were dual voice coil.

Giggz are you using a 2 channel amp and driving each sub from a seperate channel?

If yes, then why not get two 8ohm subs (or two, dual 4 ohm subs) then bridge the amp for more power into the same load! BASS!!!:slayer:

ive got 2 amps at the min 1 powering the subs and 1 doing a set of 6x9s and i think the other set of 6x9s is run off the headunit. Not 2 sure as i didn't do the install.
