I just bought the SPL X 350 sub with amp and wiring kit inclusive.

However I can't see how the sub is connected to the amp. Where the wiring etc goes is fine I can do all that but the connections on the amp don't seem to match the phono leads that come with it for linking the sub to amp.

The sub has connector's like so: 2x10mm long prongs (threaded) which have a hole through them over which a sort of nut screws down.

Anyone any idea which sort of wiring connection this is as I have't seen it before.

Help appriciated as it's driving me mad as I want it all installed but can't get it working yet.

I tried that but it still don't seem to work. everything seems to work up until the sub'

I thought as well as buying a sub' with gold plated connector's etc for better contact and better quality the last thing you would expect would be to simply strip the wire and leave it there bare when linked to the sub?

I thought there would have been a set connection like on most speakers and my 6x9's which use female- male connections? :bang:

Cool cheers I'll give it a try. I don't wanna permanently fix wire the sub anyway because I wanna be able to remove it easily when carrying stuff in the boot (the wonders of work :))

Here's a pic of the connections to see for yourself??
