Sub and speakers help

Hi I have a mk2 punto 1,2 elx it has a radio cassette head unit all std inc speakers , my boggle is that the rear speakers and sub don't work , there is 12v at the sub and at fuse on top , I can get the rear speakers to pop using a battery so I guess they are ok , also the fader on head unit appears to work , so is this a sub woofer fault or is there a common something else ,

Don't know if this helps I just pulled out the head unit the wiring is all std but there is a spare yellow plug it has 4 wires and very small pins but the configuration of them does not match the ones in the back of the head unit , should it have a cd instead of the blaupunkt radio cassette .?

i have the same issues, head unit is working fine... i can fade from right to left but not front to back....i have the radio code so im guessing its the original stereo head unit, but am just confused as to why no sounds coming from the rear speakers or sub,-sub is powered as when i remove and replace the fuse it pops..

ive had the stereo out and all connectors are connected..

very confusing


i am also having issues with the trip computer part of it not working... the minute hours button work but not the trip computer part... neither are the light adjuster buttons working...

the cars only done 48k and is a 2000 year on an x reg
