well i have been a member here for a while now and have slowly been collecting all the bits i desired for my car

i got hold of a p75 engine complete for pennys realy
going too mix and match too get the 75 bottom end with 1108 head and inlets ( i know i should have kept it 75 and mpi'd it all )
also got hold of a 4 branch manifold which i intend on rapping too clean it up a bit

then i managed too get hold of a full punto gt set up disc's and calipers but the back calipers were scrap and couldnt get one off the disc ( crash damaged car ) a good clean and the front calipers are fine could do with some new discs found a good looking set from a guy on fleebay

fancy the calipers in bright lime green yet too find the caliper paint though lol

got some oz super t style 14" with brand new tyres getting them painted matt black on 24th aug

have new bumpers front and back in garage awaiting a test fit and a coat of red stuff

have matt blacked the new block as well

today i got and trail fitted my corbaru reclining bucket seats need too make some new adaptors the sub frames are from a rover 75

will get pictures of new exaust system the next time i am in the garage

i have started too strip out the old engine but got stuck at the oil level as i can no longer find my sump plug key ( guy who dropped seats off has one for me on monday ) so that has stopped for now

i have got the interior stripped out with just the dash and a few bits remaining looking too remove a good bit of weight but still keep it fairly pratical

well till next time

I've done lime green calipers before, mix blue and yellow smooth hammerite together, if needs be add a dash of white to get it brighter(y) Doesn't appear to be affected by heat and doesn't peel providing the calipers are thoroughly clean before painting commences.

well the bolt extractors turned out too be useless snapped it after no more than 30s use ...
but have got the punto gt disc's on and bled .. new wheels fitted all round.. got too get some angle on monday too fit the sub frames for the seats
progressing well now will be attacking the engine now with a bit more enthusiasum

What seats you fitting?? ill be fitting mine hopefully after this weekend when the cage is fitted, well the rear half atleast:D

well the whole engine is now out ( have some pic but cant find card adaptor ) just got too change and swap a few little bits
fly wheel and clutch too come off old and on to new engine
need too track down a sump for the 1242block re seat the water pump swap the cam too the 75 one get a new crank sensor ( is there an easy way of getting these out )

the shopping list just grew a bit too exhaust needs a bit of playing with too fit needs a new flexy section will be looking for a decat section too loads of jubalee clips as anger got the better of me with them fiat clips

will be looking too get the bucket seats fully fitted on sunday tidy the interior up a bit ( become a dumping ground for every thing i cant be arsed too take too the garage lol )

also thanks too the guys posting on my other thread i have some weight loss plans to fit in aswell like the idea of shifting the roof liner and the door internals after i get my perspex windows sorted and respray the "blue" plastic panels i bought some time ago matt black ... seems too be my colour of choice ( work just got 80 rattle cans too lol )

well off too search for the card adaptor

get a new crank sensor ( is there an easy way of getting these out )

You know the bit where the little bolt was? well very gently tap this side with a hammer to start the whole sensor turning. Usually when its turned a little bit it frees up and you can then just pull it out. But be carefull as its only plastic on the bit you are tapping

well heres some pics
firstly the engine out yes now the work shal really begin lol

then the fiddlie plastic bit i have later found too be the crank sensor that i knocked out of the hole wil a large shifting stick
