after rebuilding a 1108 head and changing the engine, the engine mount bolt that bolts the mount to the underside of the shell, drivers side has stripped.

i believe there may be a captive nut inside the shell that the bolt screws into.

does anybody know the bolt thread size and length and if you can get at the captive nut to replace it? any help would be great, i was very lucky to get home in 1 piece when the bolt went!

thanks.

thanks for the help. what do you mean bolt through and tube? i was wondering whether to weld a thread in and double locktite nut the mount in?

What I meant was, drill through the chassis leg top and bottom, Open out the top hole to a larger size, measure accurately the height of the leg and cut a length of tube to go in from the top.

Bolt through with a thick washer on the top, the tube stops the chassis leg from getting crushed.

Is it the part indicated in my post here?

Update - eper excerpt lists it as a M10 (1.8 mm pitch) by 80 mm length
