strange problem with new HU

hi everyone

bought a new HU yesterday, 7" flip out screen type.

before getting it in the cage i loosely fitted it to the wiring to make sure it was fine, tested it, all seemed fine.

turned it off, fitted it proper and now all that happens is the power light is on, but when i press it, nothing happens, sometimes it will just go out shortly after plugging the ISO lead back in.

i'm really gutted, can't be bothered to send it back to the ebayer seller, was meant to be next day day delivery ended up waiting a week.

thanks all, i know if anyone can help it's you lot, the best the seller has came up is check the fuses, which is the first thing i done.

forgot to say, looked in the manual it said the operating voltage is 14.4 so i even started the car to see if the battery had ran down a bit but still no joy, the old one is back in and working fine.

Firstly just check that you are holding the power for long enough.
Check none of wires on the HU's wiring harness are shorting or have come unplugged. Try a couple of different combinations of the power wiring on the Bullets.

no bullet connectors on this one, not changed anything around as it worked fine with the wires this way, after I'd put it in the car properl it had blew it's fuse for the radio though, changed it and the stereo does what it's doing now.

maybe it blew the internal fuse aswell. Is there one that can be pulled out the back of the HU?

Can't see any other fuses strangely, even then if there was a blown fuse the whole thing wouldn't come on and I'm getting a light on the power button

Just send it back, It's probably blown up inside or something haha
