When we got our Fiat 500 we bought a cheap SanDisc 4GB Cruzer memory stick, onto this we copied the entire contents of the music folder from our PC. We popped this is the car and it all worked fine.

This was about a week ago, yesterday it stopped working. The memory stick has not been removed, it is happily "Play[ing] Anything", however if you try to use "Folders", "Artists", etc. it says "No Media".

I tried removing the memory stick and reinserting but it made no difference.

Any ideas?

Do you have another usb stick you can plug in? Sometimes forcing it to rescan fixes it. Happened once or twice when I used my Blue&Me

Try to update your Blue&Me to version 5.4. The updated version has cured all of my Media Player related problems. You can also try to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes.

Hey

I have had that a few times and best thing is to open the bonnet disconnect the battery for a min or so reconnect the battery and plug back in the media stick, this resets the system and allows you to play your music again (it will rebuild the library again)
