Storage medium for music

Hi all,

Just wondering what people use to store music? I have an 8gb SD card and an 8gb ipod, however, when using apple lossless format the songs are huge and fill up rapidly.

Any suggestions?

I use a 180Gb iPod Classic and various 32Gb memory sticks.
