Punto EVO 2010. My wife's car. She said when she pulled up at some traffic lights, she put the handbrake on, engaged neutral. She then got a red symbol, that she described as a circle with a squiggly thing inside it and a message Start Stop unavailable. The symbol and message were next to the shift up/down sign. She said the engine seemed to get quiet. She engaged first gear and accelerator, and symbol and message went away.
On the dash is a button, with this symbol next to it, and a line through it.
Do I presume the stop/start is not available on this model. But if so, why did the engine go quiet.
