Technical Stop start starting on its own!

Hi, Ive had my lovely 500 about 6 months but for the past few weeks when I use stop/start, the engine starts itself again. Sometimes its after a few minutes and other times only a minute. I've looked on here and found plenty of owners with it not activating but does anyone else have this please?

It's a common problem, almost certainly all it needs is to give the battery a decent charge.

Have you had the car from new?

I think it's designed to start the engine after three minutes stationary, regardless. As for the variation, well yes, there sre so many parameters for the software to take into account.

Mine had stopped working for a few days but it's back again now. I drive a lot at night so there are demands on the battery.

It will always restart after 180 seconds stationary/engine off.

Oh right, thanks for the info. Yes I had the car from new but it never did it at the start only recently!
