Technical Stilo Warranty Question (please Help!)

My 1.4 is going in next week for them to look at the clutch, Grays in Wawrick swear that there is nothing wrong with my car but I find it very difficult to drive in traffic and sometimes (but not always) judders so i'm trying a different garage. How bad was everyones car when fiat actually agreed to replace the cluth as mine is totally spoiling my enjoyment of the car.

I am almost certain that the garage will tell me its fine but my dad drove 1 mile in my car and stalled it 5 times! Is the stilo a difficult car to drive or is it just me? I'm sure that the stilo I test drove didn't drive like mine, if it had I wouldn't of bought it.

Cheers.

That sounds just like mine, I used to hate it in traffic. Sounds like you need a new clutch, I rang Fiat warrenty people and they said it was a warrenty repair, It does seem there a quite a few Stilo owners who have had this problem, I think it is a bunch of faulty clutches.

When I took it into Thames Fiat they were very doubtful that it would be fixed under warrenty, yet low and behold they rang me later in the day to say that Fiat had approved the repair.

My car is a 02 On its 4th Year and I got it done, so should you!!!

My Stilo now drives Lovley, a joy in traffic almost like a different car .. Dont let them tell you there is not a problem when you Know there is.

I have been driving for five years and my last car was a Rover 214.

I think the garage might say that there is nothing wrong with mine because they always drive off quickly. Mine in general pulls away fairly cleanly if you do that. It is when you pull away slowley ( ie; in traffic or in reverse) that its difficult to drive.
