Technical Stilo Tailgate won't open

Hi There

I own a Stilo 1.9 JTD estate. The rear tailgate has locked and will not open. I have checked the glass which opens seperately that is working ok. This problem did appear a few months ago and then fixed itself. But its back again.

Any ideas would be appraciated.

Cant remeber if i had this exact prob or similar? BUT>>> have you tried setting the onboard computer boot lock ind on then lock the car with remote and unlock then reset the boot lock ind back to original(or vice verse). I think that fixed mine last time.
