Hi all I have a question. We have a 2002 fiat stilo we have spent loads on her putting things right, rear sub frame bushes, lambda sensors, map sensor, suspension all around any way back too the question. She fail her emissions test the other day :-( now my diagnostics keeps throwing up the pre cat lambda (new) but I'm hoping it's because it's not in right due too the last clown stripping the thread so I used exhaust paste to make a seal But it also throws up the throttle actuator can this also be a problem (be gentle I'm new) lol

Best posted in the Stilo section. Better if you can post the actual codes.

Only real cure for the stripped thread in that (high temperature) application is to use an insert (helicoil, etc.) or (better by far) get a new boss welded in (they're cheap, the welding is simple enough, but the cost will be in stripping the manifold out and re-fitting). Easy enough DIY. Here for example.
