Technical stilo jtd 115 brake discs (front)

morning chaps, does anyone know if the stilo jtd 115 brake discs are the same as the marea 20v brake discs? the reason i ask is that i have a pair of mtec drilled an grooved discs that i got for my old marea and never fitted but would like to fit them to my stilo if possible? also how hard is it to change i woudl normally just shoot down to power italia and let them do it but i am a little bit skint at the moment and want to do it myself (this way i can do it again in the future) i have changed a full suspension set up on my old marea 20v so not affraid of getting stuck in

looking at the specs they are similar disc just needs re drilling

Presumably it is front ones that you are thinking of changing. Looking at the post from CFREITAS the fronts look the same (not sure where they would need re-drilling).

Easy job. There should be a locating pin to help line up the wheel and this also fixes the disc to the hub. Can be a pain if seized but not the end of the world if you have to drill it out as it really only holds the disc in the correct location when the wheel is off.

Unbolt calipers and free pads. Unbolt the caliper mounting bracket. Disc should pull off (light tap with a hammer may be required)

Caliper piston can be pushed back in using a g-clamp Rears need to be pushed and turned at the same time)

different part number something must be different

well popped it in for a brake check, and i need new rear discs and pads too, so gonna go for drilled and grooved on the rear too so by the end of the month (car not in daily service) i should have new discxs and pads all round

I sandplasted and painted my Stilo MW brake calibers, and now I don´t remember which caliber carrier is left side and which is right side..

Does anyone know?

First front caliber carrier: YO-1239 MR6 3E09
Second front caliber carrier: YO-1239 MR1 3C04

There is also little hole in the caliber carrier, and if anyone know is it up
or down it would solve the problem.

Hi!

I found a good picture of front brakes and now I know which is left and which is right! Now my only problem is rear brake caliber carriers. Does anyone know when I install that rear caliber carrier in the car, is this little hole (look picture) up or down? If I knew it then I know which is left and which is right.
