hi just wondering if anyone knows the tork settings for the head bolts ?? its a 1.4 16v. and what tools would be needed ?

I need the cylinder head torque settings for a 1.4 16v Stilo ?

need to know as soon as possible

eLEARN lists the 1.4 engine cylinder head bolt as: 3 daNm + 90° + 90°.

is that ment to be 30 ?

30 Nm is 3 daNm... I hope Dave didnt mean 30 daNm as this is more hub nut than head bolt!

Dont forget you will also want to know the correct torquing sequence

This is for the Grande Punto but going by the above figures it looks to be the same engine .... (just double check first )

NO...3 daNm + 90° + 90° is!

If you try to tighten it to 30 daNm you WILL end up snapping you head bolts or stripping the threads out of the block.

3 daNm = 30 Nm = 22 ftlb
