Stilo Fault Codes....P0352 P0353

One for all you technical wizards......2 Fault codes keep appearing P0352, P0353.....Ignition Coil B and C primary circuit....

Have Diagnostic tool so i just keep switching it off, but it is starting to annoy me, want to find the cause...

It Only Flashes on when over 80MPH (4500rpm)for more than a couple of min. There Is NO misfire, No lack of power. car runs fine. Just the |Dammed Beep Beep Beep._ engine Fault.

Am thinking it is cheap coil pack related problem I.E got 3 unbranded coils and 1 branded coil...spark plugs are new (1 week) and all coils No more than 4 months old.

Any Ideas????

change ign coil b and c and see what happens

Have heard the 1.6 goes through a lot of coils I agree that replacing the ones mentioned would be a good place to start.

Have changed the one coil, and swapped them all, still showing 2 & 3....the strange thing is i can make the code appear..
4th of 5th gear accelerate till over 4000rpm then release the pedal and Beep Beep Beep...just the codes, no actual fault ie power loss, misfire..

starting to think that it may well be linked in to the RPM/Cam sensor or possible wiring or ECU

It's perhaps a sensor fault then if it's not affecting performance as you say. Hmm, may be worth a post in the Stilo section on Club Fiat or Fiat Forum to get some more specialist viewpoints.

posted on FF...has got the gurus scratching thier heads....got a couple of leads but very strange fault that so far is unheard off.

Have you put in new spark plugs and are they the correct ones?

Spark plug Proper ones NGK.....going to buy 3 more coils to match the better one i have on, not sure it will help though as i have moved all the coil positions and still flashing same codes.....may just be something i will have to live with

check all cables going back, may find one thats earthing through a nick in the insilation, let it idle at night and watch for blue sparks jumping about

done all that......it has to be an electronic signal fault.....But where??? like finding a needle in a haystack.

clean all connections with wd40 or the like
