Talk about rough! I have never destroyed a door panel (on any make of car) to get a door open, done a drivers door stilo last week(less than 500 miles on clock)....just need a little 'techique' thats all;) Warranty wont pay for a door panel if its been deliberately destroyed!

but 'if' they destroy it and warranty dont pay, does that mean the garage pays or me??

I'm thinking its gonna be you Frank :bang:

Take the panel of yourself prior to taking the car in, that's what i did when my passenger deadlock went.
It is fiddly but i managed it without ever having done it with the door open!

Good luck

But its under warranty so why go to the hassle...if it does get damaged it will be replaced anyway:confused:

Hope all goes well with your deadlock repairs Frank its not safe to keep shimmying your bum across from passengers side to drivers side with that gear leaver sticking up there  but may be good for piles :chin:
